Doing God's Will

"I will attempt day by day to break my will into pieces. I want to do God’s Holy Will, not my own. "

Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter

Peter described our Christian calling in the opening of his First Letter, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in his great mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...”.

Way to Do Things

"Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible."

~ St. Francis of Assisi ~

Last Week of the Semester

My son John Michael is all grown up at 16 and will be in grade 11 this coming summer.
With the image of Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth.
Making faces at Monfort Hall during lunch time.
It's so peaceful at school when all the primary school kids are in their classrooms.
Another academic year is over. Thank you dear teachers for your help and support !

Pink Triple Treat

An orchid farmer once told me that fragrant catleyas bear flowers once a year only. But I will make an exception with this pink orchid beauty I bought from a local weekend market three years ago. It blooms three times a year when carefully taken care of and its flowers would last for three weeks. Hopefully, it will bear flowers again at the onset of the next rainy season.

A Glimpse of Home

My book and stationeries box from IKEA Thailand.
 My work cube.
I love pink quilt and faux flowers on an egg styled vase from a weekend market.
A pair of picture frames from IKEA Thailand.

Artificial flowers on a vintage style bucket from my sister Susan.
My kitchen furnishings from INDEX Living Mall, IKEA Thailand and from everywhere.
 My living room.
The silhouette of a Burmese musical instrument.
A sweet bundle of artificial  roses from INDEX Living Mall.
Staircase adorned with paintings, wood and stone carvings and a vase.

The Fulfillment of the Law

Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:19

Creepy Morning

A thick blanket of fog descended  Bangkok Metropolitan this morning. Strange and unusual, many Thais would say, but I believe this was caused by high humidity and light winds
