Finding Jesus

Painting by William Holman Hunt

They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, 'My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.'He replied, 'Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?' But they did not understand what he meant.

My Cattleya

My fragrant cattleya blooms once a year, every December. At 10:00 a.m. today, its petals are white with pink notes at the edges.
Four hours later, its color turned to sweet pink and its fragrance is sweeter than this morning.

Saint Nicholas

ST. NICHOLAS PRAYER

Loving God, we thank you for
      the example of St Nicholas,
      who fed the hungry,
      brought hope to the imprisoned,
      gave comfort to the lost,
and taught the truth to all.
May we strive to imitate him
by putting you first in all we do.
Give us the courage, love and strength
of St Nicholas, so that, like him,
we may serve you through loving
      our brothers and sisters.

Amen.
