Saint-O-Lanterns

Here is an interesting and meaningful way to carve pumpkins for Halloween. Instead of the usual Jack-O-Lanterns, why not carve images of saints to make Saint-O-Lanterns. The possibilities are endless !

Bad Weather

This is the sign that the rainy season is coming to an end, days and days of cloudy skies and pouring rain. When it pours, it really pours hard and heavy. Not everybody's happy about this, bad weather means flooding, flu and the worst of traffic situation here in Bangkok. From my point of view not all is bad about rainy days, the weather becomes cooler, the air is cleared of pollution and all around us turns green and fresh.

Early Christmas Greetings

Every year, we receive news from family members and friends abroad that Christmas parcels and cards reach them when the season of cheers is over. We usually send gifts and cards a month before Christmas, but because of the year end mail rush, these never reached the recipients on time. To overcome this problem, we'll be sending Christmas parcels and cards a couple of months before Christmas. This year, my son JM takes full responsibility in writing Christmas messages, wrapping gifts and packing the contents of parcels. I'm feeling better now, knowing our Christmas messages and gifts will reach their recipients on time.

Silence . . . .

* is the path to experience God ;

* is the way to seek the kingdom of God within our heart ;

* is the step to deepen our relationship with God.

Respect

Respect for authority begins with respect for one's parents. Children respect adults they can trust. Earn your child's respect by being fair and reliable.

True Greatness

"But it shall not be so among you. Rather, whoever wishes to be great among you will be your servant. For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many."

For Mom

Sadly Missed, Lovingly Remembered

A year ago today, my mom joined her Creator after several months of battling with cancer. She may be gone, but the love she has given to us all and the wonderful memories we shared will live in our hearts forever.
******
O God, who hast commanded us to honor our father and our mother; in Thy mercy have pity on the soul of my mother, and forgive her her trespasses; and make me to see her again in the joy of everlasting brightness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Twenty one (21) celebrities, the vision of a 20th-century priest, and a few burned-out computers work together to bring the Rosary to today’s young Catholics in Praying the Rosary with Catholic Celebrities.

Science is Fun !

JM poses with some antique planes on display at the center.
We've been here seven years ago, that time JM was just a toddler, attending kindergarten for the first time. Since can remember only some of the things he saw at the National Science Center for Education , we decided to bring him back so he can appreciate more of the sciences. Read additional information about the center here .
