Rose vestments are worn to emphasize our joy that Christmas is near, and we also light the rose candle on our Advent wreath.

CCD Christmas Pageant 2010

JM took a moment to pose for a souvenir photo during the 2010 Christmas Pageant. This was the seventh Christmas Pageant he participated in since CCD grade 1.

The birth of Jesus was the highlight of the Christmas presentation by CCD students.

We took notice of an ongoing dutch festival while we're making rounds of the Emporium. We dropped by to see anything that might interest us this Sunday. Our eyes feasted on fresh and beautiful tulips which don't grow here in Thailand. I took photos of my preferred colors . . . pink and . . . .

. . . . . red !

These giant dutch clogs are filled with assorted colored tulips. JM's legs could fit in these giants.

And of course, we didn't miss the famous dutch windmill.

The wooden shoemaker demonstrated how the famous dutch clogs are made.
