Children's Day
Today is the eve of Childrens' Day in Thailand and JM's first in his new school. Classes were cancelled and the rest of the day was spent on fun activities, dancing, games and of course, a really filling lunch for students and teachers courtesy of the students parents.

Above was my lunch, I had ham fried rice, sushi, pizza, KFC chicken and a delicious desert made of blueberry and nuts.

Happy New Year 2012 !

We attended the New Years' Day mass at Assumption Cathedral and we saw this beautiful nativity scene on the left side of the altar.

After mass, we proceeded to the Mall Bangkae for New Years' Day dinner. Glowing reindeers are a sight to behold.

Gloria In Excelsis Deo
Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields and keeping the night watch over their flock. The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were struck with great fear.The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord.
